Sakata Matsuri is going to be held this year from May 19th-21st, 2022, with the main festival and parade being on the 20th.
The festival has a long, rich history of over 400 years, though was cancelled for the first time ever for the last two years thanks to COVID-19.
There might be a few changes to the festivities this year to make it "virus-free", but after not having held it for two years, I'm looking forward to it!
