Although Chita Peninsula might not be the cleanest or prettiest beaches, I really enjoyed going there with friends last year.
Here is a picture I took.
They have parkings nearby the beach (500 or 1,000yens the day), a convenience store in front of the beach and a BBQ house called Coco Jungle if you want to do BBQs.
It's not my favorite beach but it's a very safe place for families.
They have a small shop selling beach goods and food like takoyaki + toilet and clothes changing spot. The place has a big parking (I can't remember if it's free). And they also rent barbecue spaces (reservation needed).
Close to a train station too. So it's good for ppl without a car.
Ougusa beach, Tahara, Aichi.
A friend told me about this beach. It's a long beach, seems great because I miss this type of beaches I know from my home country.
I haven't been there myself yet because it's a little bit far from where I live but it looks awesome.
大草海岸

Or just Google it 😉
Seems it's also a surfing spot...
