A lot of people say it's 収穫祭 harvest festival but I don't have the same understanding on Halloween. I wonder where they got this knowledge ^^

What was your experience of Halloween back home? My Scottish grandparents always reminded me the festival marks the end of summer. But we were urban kids so we didn't have harvest related traditions.

I'm french and Halloween always has been an event coming from the States to most of ppl. But I like Halloween and did my research back then so to me it's the day when dead ppl can come back to the world of the living and so both worlds don't have clear boundaries. It seems that there was an event in the old times, before catholicism took the religious monopoly but it don't know exactly what it was about.
