unless you are applying to a real Japanese job, you don’t need these other types of resumes, just use one from your country to apply to a teaching job or part time job.
There are 2 types of resume if I can say: 履歴書 rirekisho and 経歴書 keirekisho. The one that's first required is the rirekisho. I think resume in Japan is quite a pain in the, butt because you have to write all your schools records from high school and all your job experiences... I have 6 to 7 schools to write down and the past companies....I skip some else I'd need 5 pages lmao
What is your experience with handwritten resumes? I definitely prefer to use a digital resume, preferably just sending a PDF, otherwise printing it out and bringing it to the interview. But in rural Hokkaido I've had companies tell me to bring a handwritten resume (no erasable pens allowed either of course!). It can easily take me an afternoon to hand-write a resume without making any kanji mistakes! 😂
Handwritten resumes are a nightmare. For that I really like the possibility to apply for jobs through websites, so it is possible to avoid handwritten resumes.
Apparently you’re supposed to attach a picture to your resume here. I have never done so myself but it’s probabpy because I’ve only applied to work at schools. For Japanese companies, I hear this is a requirement but I could be wrong…

Standard forms are available at a stationery shop or 100 yen store. Just fill in the blanks and away you go.
