The Japan Legal Support Center, a public agency, provides Hoterasu, legal information for foreign residents. Hoterasu provides support for family, labor, housing, accident, and criminal issues.
Oh this is great! In Nagoya you can go to the Nagoya International Center (NIC) to get similar information (I guess) but it's not a website xD very handful to bookmark!
I just check my town's website or Ministry of Justice's website when I need to renew my resident card. They both have info in English and other languages.
