Seriously, does anyone have a recommendation for shops or websites where you can buy women's shoes in sizes over 25.0? My size is 25.5 or 26.0 depending on the brand, and it's SO HARD to find anything that fits...
Covid has made it so hard to travel, so I haven't been able to buy shoes back home for years now...
@Lieke I’m a size 27. If I want trainers, I buy mens but I’ve always liked them better anyway. For work shoes, Ive bought some stuff from Nissen (https://www.nissen.co.jp) but what I find annoying about them is that they change with the season and bigger sizes usually run out. Expect to pay a bit more than smaller sizes too but it’s not too bad and it does the trick.
I don't know of a website but I've seen custom made shoes at a shop at the department store shoes section. I have wider feet and I thought it was great to be able to have fitting shoes. I can't give you direct feedback since I didn't buy from them.
As a taller and not-by-any-means skinny woman, I have trouble finding things that fit below the waist; this includes shoes. There are shops and websites that cater to bigger sizes but they are few and far between and sometimes rather unflattering. I usually buy that kind of stuff overseas which is annoying because I can’t try it on first. With the exception of international brands like H&M and Zara, it would be nice to see more variety for larger ladies.
100% agree. Tops are usually okay, but bottoms are SO hard to find. I like to buy loose-fitting skirts at Uniqlo, those are usually okay, but I live in Hokkaido so finding warm pants for winter is really difficult..
@Jemineye I believe GU and Uniqlo have larger sizes available but only online. They have up to 3XL. The sizes are probably Asian 😅 I recently sized up lately so I can relate. If you're above a 38 (French size) the choices are limited. Plus I'm a petite fit so shopping session are a nightmare.
Asos deliver internationally.
