I think the best buy from Daiso I got was these little bags that stick to the side of your table and you can toss in little pieces of trash. I also gave some to my coworker who said her boyfriend leaves his used tissues on the table...
But, the plethora of stickers I can get in Japan, man, just can't do it back home like this.
I really like the 100 yen themed goods like the one they do for cherry blossom. I buy the notebooks, origami paper, post it notes and stickers with cherry blossom designs on them. I also bought a little plate with cherry blossoms that I keep on the dressing table to put my accessories on.
A few summers ago, I bought the mini fan from Daiso, the one where you can put water in the tube and the fan mist cools you down. I took it to the US and my friends loved it! They asked to bring back some next time I visit.
I recommend some of the camping goods, like the small solid gel fuel. They will be useful in an emergency when there is no access to electricity or gas.
I really like the tableware section of 100yens shop, especially Seria. Most of my dishes are from 100yens shops. They have cute designs, the goods are sturdy and very affordable.
I totally agree! Seria is the best brand, practically out doing Daiso these days. I stock up on notes books from Seria. The bigger the shop the better. FYI, in Tokyo may be a challenge since things sell out more quicker in the city.
Hi! Summer is coming, andfor those looking to enjoy the great outdoors (without spend all your money to do so!), the camping section in the 100¥ shop is actually great value!
Kitchenware and cleaning products are great buys! Also socks!
Some of the food at Daiso is not just cheap, but also really good! I recommend the curry available at Daiso from their own brand
