As temperature rises in this beginning of August let's share our tips to survive this heat!
Drink lots of water and use an umbrella to block the sun, it actually really helps!
Hats, arm covers, a parasol, and lots of liquids.
Minimal cooking of meals. Lots of noodle dishes and salads. I get out for bike rides and walks in the evenings after it's cooled off a little.
I've always found parasols to be troublesome because needed to be carried around usually on top of regular bag + bento bag etc but I'm actually reconsidering it lately...
Folding hybrid umbrella-parasols saved me! I got a compact one that's always in my bag year round. They're really convenient.
Personally my number 1 tip would be to plan an escape to Hokkaido since the temperatures in Summer are less high and it is also less humid😂
