I did paragliding in Tottori prefecture, on the famous sand dunes, in fact. It's a perfect location to learn paragliding. It's actually much easier than it seems, although in the first lesson you only go down the hill and learn to turn a little bit. When you become more skilled, it is possible to turn into the wind current and climb, enabling you to glide practically endlessly. It's really a lot of fun. The hard part is carrying the equipment across the sand dunes and up the hill after a run. But all the effort is worth it, I think. I'd be happy to do it again if I have the opportunity.
Wow so brave!! I think I’d be scared. I tend to avoid activities that imply I need to count on a physical performance since I have painful and weak joints 😭 so I wouldn’t be scared to fly but to land 😂
